Mvb?

Hey I'm new here and just inherited a baby female veiled chameleon like super small lol she's eating fine and doing great my question is can I use a mvb or no I keep a tegu and a beardie so I had a spare one that hasn't been used yet what are your thoughts?

I think an mvb bulb would be overkill for an adult female veiled. Far too much for a baby. Just use an ordinary (40W) household bulb for basking and a uvb tube.

Well I've raised veileds before I have a mature male and all that just wasnt sure on the mvb thanks for the link!

I have seen people on here use MVB successfully, but I am not 100% sure about using that type of light for a baby. I know it would be ok for an adult. Most of us the the 5.0 reptisun or reptiglo tube and some go with the compact. Alot of people are starting to use the Arcadia t-8 lights(I believe that is what they are called)
