Mrs. cristatus has laid her eggs

This evening she laid 15 very pretty eggs.
They are about 1cm. long and I have no doubt that they are fertile.
I have them positioned as pictured in moist vermiculite and my planned incubation temperature range is 65 to 72 degrees.
She is keeping her right eye open almost all of the time now and I have stopped with the Gentamicin drops.
bit by bit things seem to be going alright for her.

Awesome man...
How long is the incubation for that species?

Niels Pedersen's clutch incubated for 9 months but I have read 5 months as well.
The gestation period (eggs in the females body) is 3 to 4 months.
Neils also incubated as high as 24 or 25 degrees c. and I don't think I'm going to let mine get that warm.
Currently they are @ 21 degrees c. and will cool during the night.

Fantastic Brad! I am so excited to hear how they do, along with mom. Good luck and I can't wait to see how they do for you. :)

Hot lowland guy gonna hatch the montanest of montanes?!? Congrats and VERY best wishes with the clutch! I can't wait to see neos!

Awesome!

Congratulations Brad!

My female also laid 15 eggs and so far they are doing well. I split the clutch into two containers.

Update on the T. cristatus eggs.

Since these were laid, 6 have gone bad.
They were the skinniest ones and although I thought they were small and too ovally, they were quite white and looked good.
I have not had cristatus eggs, so ???
Anyway, they shriveled up and turned brown.
The good news is, the remaining 9 eggs look great and have grown a bit.
Almost 1 month in incubation.

I have my fingers crossed for you as well with these Brad. I have yet to have a successful breeding with my pair, but they are still thriving and seem to be doing well. :)

Great to hear that Haley!!! Give them time, they were smaller than the other pair. Probably 2/3 the size. We want to see some pics too!

Great to see you have some nice looking eggs also Brad!!!
