Moving in the winter with my chameleon

So, I live in Michigan, and it's winter time with below freezing temps, im moving the end of January 2021, and im not sure how to take my chameleon with me. Any ideas? (Im probably going to be moving somewhere in state. Like 30 mons away from my current home.

So I never had to move, but a super insulated box that’s large enough and also has a stick through it might be helpful. I have to take my guy to the DRs in upstate NY soon for his first vet visit and I’m going to use this box when I do:

What is inside of that? Im not sure what im supposed to use for insulation, would a blanket work?

It’s a 1inch thick green styrofoam, the bottom also has it too

Doesnt your car have heat? Just put him in a dark box with something to hold onto. 30 minutes is no problem at all, takes me longer to drive to the vet lol.
