Movin on up to deluxe appt

I moved Morken to his new home this weekend. 36x48x24 as comared to his youth enclosure, 36x18x18. he has been roaming ever since. I also had to up his cricket count, guess he is burning more energy. I worried about his dull color before move. when i coaxed him out of old cage he turned bright green. In the new cage he went back to his salmon color with spots. I think now that he is just very teritorial. At pet store he was housed with others in very small cage. He doesn't hide as much in this enclosure, i think he is alot happier, he ate, drank and pooped in first 30 min. Yea!!!

Update

An update on new cage. had to move both lights farther away due to new cage's increased themal retension. had to add another thermo and hygro, more zones. had to reroute drip system,(he would drink right out of the tube.) reinforced fake plants to hold his new weight. added larger plant. Im thinking of putting some kind of toilet cup in, he poops in same place all of the time, like clockwork. then i could remove and dispose,(daily), instead of current method. like mini paper plate or something.
