It's a little hard to see anything in the photo. Is it in the very corner of his mouth or further down? The very corner could be a temporal gland infection, which Jackson's are prone to developing. He would need to see a vet to treat that. If it is further down the gum line, see if the gums are discolored or crusty instead of bright pink. Discoloration or swelling could be an injury related infection. Sometimes they get scraped when eating, it happens.
If there is no seeking and the gums are bright pink, I would just keep a close eye on it for any changes.
