Im upgrading my small reptibreeze in the near future, and i would like to know the opinion on the dragon strand keeper cages. They look well built and very good quality. Are there any significant differences between this cage and the extra large reptibreeze. Even though the dragon strand is a little more expensive i love the drainage tray idea. The drainage tray looks like it could be a better upgrade to my pvc stand/bucket method as well as more aesthetically pleasing.

I can't speak for Reptibreeze because I have never used one. The Dragon Strand Cages are used for one of my adult quads and to raise baby Furcifer lateralis. They have worked great for me & I love them.

I modified the Dragon Strand to look naturalistic with cork tiles and a vivarium approach planting style. I'll take a few pics to post later.

How easy is it to get the water out of the drainage tray? And or what does the setup look like with a drainage tray.

I can jump in here. I'll let others speak to the quality of the cages as some might consider me biased. But I can certainly answer a question about the drainage tray!

The cage sits on top of the tray which raises it up just under an inch. In practice, the water drips to the floor, forms small puddles and evaporates unless there is enough water to create a flow. In the case of a flow the water will drain out of the cage and collect in the drainage tray. (Some people choose to drill small drainage holes in the floor and others use the flow method). From the drainage tray it will either evaporate or it can be manually emptied by using a turkey baster or a wet vac. How much emptying you do depends on how much watering you do. I am a heavy mister so I end up emptying my trays out every other week.

I'll fade back out and let others give their opinions of the product, but know you can always PM me for any and all questions.

I got to see one of the smaller cages for babies up close last month. Very sturdy. Straightforward. I've made my own cages over the years and know the time that goes into one so I can say these are worth the purchase.

I purchased one of the medium tall breeder series with the laybox tray for below. The quality is excellent. Their customer service is fantastic as well. A part was broken on arrival (likely from in shipping) and was mostly cosmetic, maybe somewhat structural. I mentioned it to them and they were quick to get it fixed and make sure I had no issues with it. I have no problem going back to purchase from them again. I will be getting one of their breeder series, large next.
