More from Alaska!

Well, went on a great Alaskan adventure this past weekend. Made the notorious drive from Anchorage to Fairbanks, made some awesome friends, and stayed at the Chena hot springs WHERE I GOT HIRED! So now I'm moving out of the village and onto the hot springs resort this weekend :) So if anyone comes to visit the springs this year, please come by the front desk at night and talk chameleons with me! I will have a ton more pics to come, but here's some goodies for those who are curious:

Best of luck in your new adventure. I forgot to tell you when I read your last post about moving out there that I was currently reading a Jodi Picoult book, called The Tenth Circle. Part of it takes place in Aniak, a town that I'd never heard of before and yet read about in both a book and on here in the same day! Quite a coincidence, I think. Enjoy Alaska - I was there on a cruise, which is completely different from daily living, but was very impressed with the natural beauty and culture I encountered.

Ok in order, sorry about your hand, congrats on your job and wow, those pictures are awesome. I hope all works out great for you.

I just bought that book because of your post ^.^ lol It's not everyday you hear of Aniak being in a book! It is a wonderful place to visit in the summer though!

Beautiful. I actually passed by Alaska several times. Even spent about a month on the coast stuck on a ship but never landed on shore. I do want to visit one day.

Enjoy the book, it was really good. I love Jodi Picoult's writing style, but limit myself to one of hers a year so i can savor them longer. Without that self-imposed limit I'd blow through everything she's ever written in a couple of months!

Beautiful pictures! I went to Alaska when I was about 9 or 10. I absolutely loved it and will remember the memories for life! I would love to go back up there, heck I'd love to stay there during June-July-August! :) Congrats on your new job!
