Monty's Enclosure Upgrade

Finally got Monty the 24x24x48" size cage he needed and got it all set up. There's so much more room and he's already roaming around and checking everything out. I'm hoping the extra height he has available will give him more security. Once the pothos grows out he'll have more foliage cover up top.

Can't wait to get a Mistking system next. Sitting it on the utility sink makes it very tall so I definitely need a step stool to get at the dripper on top!

Please let me know if you guys have any criticisms that'll make it better for the little guy.

I'm very pleased to see him moving around so smoothly. I hope the larger cage helps him have enough space to climb and exercise his legs.

Having the extra height has done great things for Monty's confidence. While he'll still get defensive if you get too close, I can actually work in the cage without him causing too much of a fuss. I suppose we'll see if that lasts as he continues claiming it as his territory.

I love the utility sink under the enclosure. I have been mulling around with a similar idea....nice to see a physical representation...because my mental representation was terrible!!!!

What a great idea, you just flush water through the drain to clean, nice size enclosure too, he will not doubt enjoy the space.

The sink is definitely working out well. The only shortcoming I can see in the future is having to wipe down the inside, because it's a bit hard to reach around everywhere with how deep it is. I have the schefflera sitting up on a small stool so I'm going to try and keep the basin well flushed as markpulawski said.
