Misting help

Hi I have a 2-3 moth old Veil Female and I am wonder how often a day and how long for each time do you suggest for a Mistking system with one nozzle in the screen caeg. Thanks

I usually just mist four or five times throughout the day. Once when I get up and then several times during the day and then a final time right before I go to bed. Usually I have a fogger running during the day to help maintain moisture and to also act as a dripper. If you do that then misting twice a day should be sufficient depending on the size of the enclosure.

Welcome to the forums and congrats on your new girl. She might only need three misting a day. Sometimes less mistings for a longer amount of time is better because it takes chams awhile to start drinking and then you don't want the water to stop as soon at they start drinking. I recommend a dripper along with the mister. Also you want the enclosure to dry out between mistings. I'm attaching a few links for you below about general care, female care and egg laying and the laying bin. Since you have a female around 4 to 5 months old you will want to provide her with a laying bin in her enclosure at all times. The girls can and often do lay eggs without a male even being around.
