Might have just run into a problem today

So i have a reptile "corner" in my room. Its more of just a 5 1/2 foot long by 5 ft wide alley that the builders decide to shaft me with as far as room space, but turned out decent for reptiles. Anyway on one side is my Chams and the other are all my pythons and boas. I was cleaning my carpet cage today and letting Fern (jaguar carpet cross) frawl around on the head of my bass and along my curtains and when i wasnt paying attention she made it to my chameleon shelf and was crawling along the bottom, not interested in the chams, just cruising....

well Reptar got PISSED! started changing color and hissing and gaping. Hes never done this before, but seemed to realize that the 10 or so tubs across from his cage now had snakes in them. I had to feed him and water him to calm him down and even then he didnt really act "normal".

Should imove everything or is this going to be ok? When i got home from the GFs house tonight he was normal colors but hanging out more in the back of his cage which he usully doesnt...

anyone care to weigh in? The snakes are in opaque rubbermaid tubs which are hard to see through

Just make sure the snakes can't be seen by the chams and you should be fine. We housed 2 Morelia's in the same room as our free ranged Melleri. Nicole made a simple curtain to match the decor of the room to hang over the side of the snake cage so the cham couldn't see them.

I have an albino corn snake in the same room as my chameleon. I have the snake at a significantly lower height than the chameleon, and I don't think the two even know each other exists.

ok i figured it was the as long as they cant see eachother theyll be fine thing, as this is the first time it happened and theyve been like that for the better part of a month.

what type of morelia did you have luevelet?

He might sulk a while, but he will get over it. Just dont let it happen again.
If the snake tubs didnt bother him before, they still wont. :)

What species of cham is that in the video? That cham looks ill, check out the ribs. Is this normal?
