Mesh versus Screen

Hi guys , just wondering if there is a preference on enclosures ?
Mesh vs Screen?

"Mesh" implies that the openings in the material are larger than the typical home window screen. An advantage it that it will be less likely to catch and pull out the cham's claws when it climbs on it. Disadvantages include not being able to keep free roaming feeder insects inside. If your mesh is galvanized metal, you need to check it for sharp edges that might cut a cham's feet. You could file or sand the edges down but it might rust in spots eventually.

"Screen" implies the usual window screen material, either aluminum or fiberglass. Fiberglass degrades in full sunlight if you plan to have the cage outdoors. Indoors its not a problem. Screen is easy to work with and may be less expensive, and will keep feeders inside. But, it can also pull a cham's claws out.
