Mesh or Aluminum screen cage?

My panther chameleon is about 4 months old in a 30 x 16.5 x 48 nylon mesh cage from Reptile Supplies. He's doing fine so far, however, the cage is a bit of a nuisance. You can only open it from the right side and the material is very shaky. Are the aluminum ones any better?

I would probably buy one for the front door alone, but he has only been in this enclosure for about a week so I don't want to stress him out by moving him again...

Any suggestions???

Hi,

the aluminium mesh is very stable. No feeders could escape from it and the UV-radiation is no problem for it.
But cats etc. could destroy it.

The stress won't be too bad for him.

Yeah, the aluminium ones are much better.

A move shouldn't be too bad as there's nothing to massively stress him out when moving from one cage to another.
