Mesh advice

hello guys&ladies, a bit ov advice needed, building my own wooden viv, just wondering what type ov mesh to use for the top,so not to burn cham, or is it all the same, this is to put my light& heater on, any advice would b apreciated.

If you have an old terrarium or glass tank lid with a wire mesh top you could cut that out. Or do you need screen for the entire top of your viv?

if you use fiberglass screen the basking lamp will burn it.

if you use anything coated the light may burn off the coating. once its burnt off it should be fine i just wouldnt have the cham in the cage until it is done doing so.

i personally use black aluminum screen, the black is just more aesthetically pleasing.

i just use the window panel framing, like the cages you would buy online.

ive done a couple wood cages and iust dont like the look. i also get concerned about what could be in the wood that could harm my chams.

but yeah to answer you question aluminum screen works quite nice for me

I also use black aluminum screen and it has been working well with me.
