since there arnt any babies around does anyone have any recomendations on where to buy a decent young mellers at? there were some at the san diego show a wile back so im not sure if there will be any this time

Try looking at the classifieds I think I saw one up there. Some of the site sponsers might carry them so try looking around there as well.

Fidel has a nice looking Captive Hatched Melleri for sale in the classified section. The price at $400 may sound like a lot but it is priced right in my opinion. You can get a wild caught one for $100 but run the risk that it will not survive and have a long acclimation process and possible parasite issues. A Melleri that was captive hatched and raised to this size is well worth that price. I had to force myself not to try to buy it because I have a bunch of Melleri already. I looked at that ad for a long time before I got myself away from it! If you don't have experience acclimating some sort of wild caught chameleon you should stick with something captive bred or captive hatched.
