melleri man or female

my friend, i am thinking of getting a pair of melleri. but i do not see a clear article to defind man and female of this animal. even the seller can't tell. i thought they are can be defind by colour but seen like not at all. a web told it's about the development of doral or size of body. any idea?

Melleri are virtually impossible to distinguish sexes until you see a sperm plug. If you find a sperm plug it is most definitely male, if not assume female.
