Mean Chameleon

try leaving him alone for a couple days myn was really hostile to my freind becuase he stares at my cham alot and i guess my cham doesnt like that

He's probabley in his "teenage years". Just leave him alone for awhile and let him settle in. They don't like to be bothered.

I'm going to have to agree with Lindsey. Chams are sometimes known to get very upset and angry with their owners in their teenage years. Work with him. Try to cup and hand feed him, and possibly take him out to get some sun. Free ranging might help as well.

like i posted on your youtube video welcome to the world of veileds. from what i have gathered from my experience with veileds males are very territorial and like to be left alone. he is deff in his teenage years. like jann and the other said free range and also hand feed treats such as hornworms and silks they love them. jann is best at taming the aggresive mean veields so she has the best knowledge. my female veileds are actually very sweet its just the boys just like to be left alone. also holding a camera on them for long periods of time is not a good thing. my nosey be is friendly as can be but try and take a picture and its go time. seeing its still a baby try only to hold once a week and start the free range early if you are a afriad to take him out put a free range tree in front of his cage and let him let himself out. paitence with him my man patience. best of luck

hey thanks everyone but i dont know where to begin with free range i never heard of it remeber i am a first timer. can somoen elaborate?

wow yeah i dont think i can fit anything like that in my bed room .. but thats a real nice set up

seeing you didn't post anything else up just wondering about your veileds temp here is some quick info for you

feeding: dust your crickets with calcium w/o d3 at every feeding if your in the northern states like I am i dust with D3 once a week and reptivite vitamins every other week. seeing he is still a baby i'd feed 10-15 2-3 week old crickets and try hand feeding some treats too him in the after noon i recommend at 3 this gives him time to digest the food before he goes to bed at night good treats are horn worms silk and meal worms or super worms. maybe like 2 times a week

lighting: 5.0 reptisun vbu tube and a 60 wat basking light keep the basking temps around 80-85 and the temps in the lower part of the cage around 70-75 place one of your vines about 6 inches under the basking like or 4 but check to see what the temps are. anything else ask!!!:D
