I am on my phone and did a search but being on my phone made it rarer difficult to find my answer. I ordered mealworms from great lakes hornworm and realized I don't know how to care for them. They have arrived so any help as quickly as possible would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

similar to superworms
keep in a container with a bran or oat (or combo) substrate. Can also include whatever dry gutload mix you make for your crickets as part of the substrate, such as sunflower seeds, kelp powder, spirulina, bee pollen, etc. Put pieces of carrot, apple, yam, dandelion leaves, etc on top of the substrate as a moisture source (and to add nutrients). Do not let substrate get damp or wet

just in case youre not aware - Mealworms should not form a large part of the chameleons diet.

I was using them occasionally as a treat or when I didn't have time to go to the store to pick up crickets and fed them off to just satisfy appetite. I just keep them in the fridge in the container they came in.

Thank you very much, I know they should only be treats and whatnot but it's such a better deal to buy online so I did haha. I don't plan to give them to him often at all...

These can go in the refrigerator so they last longer right?
