Hi Everyone, Mateo has just turned 8 months old and his colores are finally starting to really come through. He still has remained small though. He is 7 inches from snout to the tip of his tail. I'm still hoping that he will have a growth spurt! He is starting to show some really nice purple bars like his dad (Brantley from FLchams). Also had to add a picture of Atticus and Nebula. Got to show them some love too!

Sweet, Mateo's looking good. Nice to see those purple bars being passed along to his sons :) Below is a picture of Mateo's sister, Nancy.

Kent - She is absolutely adorable! Is she 8 months also? I know Mike has a new Brantley clutch for sale now too. Does she seem small to you, or is it just Mateo? I still have him in a smaller cage because I am afraid that he will have trouble finding food in a 18x18x36.

Yes, I seen the babies from the new clutch, they are amazing!! I really wanted one, but bringing home 3 Chams from the show would have been a little too much!!!! Congrats, he's stunning already!!

Nope, I just got Nancy last month at around 4 months of age. I've got her in a 24x24x48 and she has NO problems finding food whatsoever. In fact, she's grown a ton in the last month. Although some individuals just grow more slowly than others, what size crickets are you feeding? I've noticed that feeding crickets too small can affect growth and that larger ones seem to speed them up, fwiw.

Right now I am feeding him 1/2 inch crickets. I have been trying to add the regular crickets in his cage, but they are almost as large as his head, and he won't mess with them. He is also eating mealworms because the superworms are to large too. I have purchased a few wax worms hoping they will add some weight to him. I think I may have the first pygmy panther!!!!

Reptimom...he looks FABULOUS!!! I am seriously considering purchasing something from Brantley's new clutch. I now have four blue bars and figure I need to mix it up a bit..lololololol.

Very handsome older brother. Keep posting (and PM me) any color changes. I'd love to see how he turns out.

I sure will! Still hoping for a growth spurt! I am hoping to one day mate him with my female ambanja, Nebula - but right now, I think she would eat him!
