Hi, wanted to post some new pictures of Mateo - He came from Mike at FLchams and was sired by Brantley. I posted pictures of him last month because I was concerned about how small he was. He was 3 mos old when I purchased him and I have had him 2 months today. Hope you enjoy his pictures. See If you can tell if he has grown any since his pictures I posted last month - He is 5 months old now!

Good looking chameleon, looks healthy but still very small for age, are you sure he is really a he? Looks more like a female to me, which may explain the size issue. Can i get some senior members to either confirm or deny this?

might be wrong because of the angle but there seems to be a bit of a bulge in the 2nd photo, suggesting male. my male is very small for his age too at about 4 months he's a little smaller than yours

Male for sure! Reptimom, sometimes the slow growers will surprise you! I have a female that was about 6.5 months old weighed just over 11g which is about the weight of a 3 month old. I continued what i was doing and bam, growth spirt. She tripled her weight in two months and she is 9 months old now and weighs 36g so she is getting up there. Still, small for her age but her colors for a female are incredible. She was a diamond in the rough, just taking her sweet ass time.

I keep telling myself not to worry about it - I guess I keeping comparing him to the other chams that I have raised and they were twice his size by 5 mos. He eats and drinks fine and gets plenty of natural sunlight - so I am hoping that growth spirt will kick in soon.Thanks everyone!

Great looking guy. His brother wasn't as small but refused to eat. I wouldn't worry if he's eating.
