Due to an upcoming move I am in need of a good home for my male veiled, Moe. I am in no real hurry to place him but it would be nice to get him into a knowledgable home by the time the temperature's drop to around 65 degrees at night (when I bring him inside for the rest of fall and the winter). I'm hoping for a knowledgable and experienced person that would be willing to give him a good home, that way I know that he will definately be taken care of.

I bought Moe 2/8/2011 from PetSmart and am guessing he was approximately 2 months old (he was around 3 inches then). He has been housed in a 24X24X48 DIY screen cage with live plants, lots of fake vines, and a RainDome system. His main diet is crickets and he really enjoys hornworms, which he will gladly take from your fingers. He has also eaten waxworms, silkworms, and I even bought him some painted lady butterflies in the past as well. He gets Rep-Cal Herptivite, Rep-Cal Calcium without Vit D, Rep-Cal Calcium with Vit D, and Repashy Calcium Plus. He used to be on a rigorous dusting schedule that has slacked off a bit since I haven't been home and my roommate has been feeding him.

What you would get:

1 Male Vieled Chameleon (approximately 1 year and 8 months)
1 24X24X48 DIY Screen Cage (a couple of small holes but nothing bad)
1 Cricket Cage with any crickets left in it (if you want it)
1 RainDome System (Medium I Beleive)
1 Rep-Cal Herptivite
1 Rep-Cal Calcium w/o Vit D
1 Rep-Cal Calcium with Vit D
1 Repashy Superfoods Calcium Plus
1 Double Bulb Light Fixture (24" Reptisun 5.0 & Plant Light)
1 Basking Light with Repti-Basking Bulb and Spare Bulb
1 Small Light Fixture with red bulb (used to keep warm at night since I got him and it never bothered him, I know some people advise against it)
1 Big Dripper
1 Timer used for RainDome System
1 Zilla Night and Day Power Center
Any live plants
Anything else I come across between now and when he gets rehomed.

I've really enjoyed having Moe and wish I could keep him. If I wasn't facing a career change and a move I wouldn't think about getting him a new home. This chameleon is very laid back, has only bit me once (when I woke him up), and has only fired up a few times, very easy to handle. I am asking $100 for him and all of his stuff to help assure me he is going to the right person. I will opt out of the rehome if I feel you are not the right person or don't have the experience. Like I said before, I'm in no real hurry to rehome him as my move won't be until beginning of next year. I will NOT ship, you must pick him up unless I'm able to meet you halfway. Current location is Dover Delaware.

I'll be out of town off and on throughout the next six weeks or so. I ask for patience due to this as it's work related and there is not much I can do about it. I will also try and get an updated picture on here as soon as possible for those interested. In the meantime, there are pictures of him on my profile page. Thanks for taking the time to read.
