Male Pygmy acting strange?

Hello everyone, I know i haven't been much active on the forums lately. I recently got my phone and internet taken due to my math test grade

Anyways.......

I noticed my male goes down to the bottom of the cage a lot and he make a little tunnel thing and just puts himself there. Everyday he does this and when he wants he will crawl back up. What is this a sign off? Is he dieing? He is eating and drinking though. I see him do that. My female is fine.

It sounds like he is too hot.
Temps should be in the 62 to 72 (max) range.

Its around 72. Its been pretty cold down here for awhile but it just started today to get warmer. I will make sure my room stays cooler as sometimes the sun from the windows comes in (but doesnt shine on the cage) and heats the room up so i will keep them closed

at the moment it is really low as it is night and they are ready to go to bed but when i see him do it tomorrow i will quickly check for you

Sounds like aestivation (sp.?) basically hot weather hibernation. The humidity should be higher at night.

my point is he sounds too hot, you may want to keep up the humidity too, it should naturally be higher at night, and should be 50-80 % all the time.

Ok thanks for the info I will do whatever I can to keep track of the humidity and temp better
