Hello, I would like to leave this up to the experts. I recently bought a panther from a breeder. In fact he's a sponsor to this forum. He tells me he sold me a male but I'm not sure if he is a male. Please help me. He's four months old not much color at all.

I'm gonna say male. What locale is he?

He is a ambilobe. I got him from a breeder that is actually a sponser on this forum. Why wouldn't he have much color yet ?

It all happens in their own time. Some color up really early, some take a little longer. I have one that right now spends a majority of his time a muddy brown but when he does show color it is amazing. Sometimes the late bloomers are the most incredible when they do finally color up. Your guy is still little bitty. give him a few sheds. You'll start seeing him change with every shed.
