hi i have a vieled chameleon and i want to know whether it is a boy or girl because the pet store said they did not know

Male veiled chameleons have a tarsal spur on their hind feet, which is visible from the moment they hatch from their eggs.
As they mature, males will also grow bigger than females, show a lot more colours and will develop a bigger casque.

I wouldn't ask the people at the pet store for any advise anymore if they don't even know how to tell the difference between male and female veiled chameleons...
