Making my own cage.

So I made a post a long while back about the cage I was making. I've changed my plans though, and I am switching to making three 2x2x4 and putting them together. It's going to be made out of PVC pipe. Would a roll of 48" by 7' roll enough to cover one of these cages.?

I believe most of these rolls of screen material are 50' long.

Are you going to sreen the edges that touch as well?
Or use solid dividers?

You are talking about needing at least 38' to 56' of screen.

Or am I misunderstanding?

The surface area for one 2x2x4=36'(if you dont count the bottom)

If the screen material is 48"x7' you will need 4 rolls of it.

This is because you cant cut it right in two(longways) and use it to cover 2 sides. You will find that you need an inch or two on the edges to spare when screening it.

I bought a 50' roll of 36" wide screen when I made mine.

I made a cage that was about 35"x35"x5' out of it.

Id recommend buying a large roll of it.

Given you make no mistakes when cutting the screen, 30' of screen would work. Id say get 40' to be safe. That single roll will not be enough to cover just one
