This egg was laid on 5/8. Think it's any good?

This is the only egg of the clutch to show any growth. The others molded and were tossed out... :(

I have never seen one crackle like that, especially at only 4 months, but you never know. At the bottom, I see a shadow. Is the shadow coming from the outside or is it from a dark spot inside the egg? Because a dark thingy inside the egg could be a good sign. When you candle a good, developed egg, the dark blob is the baby.

I had eggs from only one of females that looked this way everytime at around 6 months. They kept growing and all hatched.

Thanks for your input, Shauna. The dark thingy is from the inside. Do you think the macro is causing you to have alarm?

Maybe it is the macro making it look more crackled than it is. If the dark spot is coming from inside, that's a really good sign. That means there is a baby growing in there, and that's the important part!
