Hey all
Just wanted to share a little adventure in Herbert's (4.5 month old blue bar chameleon) life today.
I had his mesh cage half open as I sometimes do and fell asleep in my bed next to his cage. I woke up maybe a half hour later and stared into his cage and couldnt find him. I searched and searched and I thought "wow he's doing a very good job of evading me today" but then it turned into.. "holy crap, he's not there!"
turns out some way some how he must have climbed down, jumped down or a combination of the two because after i'd recruited my girlfriend and sister to come help me look for him in my room we finally found him. he was found in my closet on the top shelf behind my shirts.
i've looked him over and he doesnt look injured which is a relief. all is well and he is now back in his cage. Phew.
