Today I drove to Culver City to give my tegu to Star Eco Station Reptile Rescue I had to give her away as she was getting to big for her 4x2x2 cage and I did not have room to build her a 8x4x4 cage. She was my favorite reptile and was the smartest of them all. I will miss her forever.

Aw, i'm sorry to hear. I'm sure they will find her a good home... Most of my pets have been adopted from Reptile Rescues or adopted from people who were not able to care for them anymore. I recently re-homed one of my female Crested Geckos because my male kept harrassing her to mate and I didn't have an extra tank for her. :( I'm sure if you ask the rescue to give you the adoptee's contact info. they'll give it to you so you can get some up dates.

Its definitely harder to lose a animal to death because you know you can never stop by to see how he/she is doing but its still hurts to drop off a animal at a store it definitely brings alot of worries like i wonder how they are treating her? i wonder what she's/he's doing? I wonder if she/hes thinking about me?:( lots of worries :X
