hello
I´m curios to know how long time is the longest time your females have been under ground while digging and laying eggs (and survived it )

I have a female (from the dilepis complex) who have been digging for 48hours (in the same hole) and I have not seen her in about 24 hours... I´m begining too be a bit worried...:(

I would be worried also. Has the tunnel collapsed on top of her? It should not have taken her that long.

ive seen fem veileds take 48hrs to digg and bury, when they took that long, i saw eggs in two spots.

one pocket of a large number of eggs towards the bottom of the chamber, and one smaller group a little higher.

get or make a stethoscope, or just get as close as you can and as quiet as you can and see if you can hear the scratching or digging

finally :D she layed 54 good looking eggs after 50hours of digging

Wow! Congrats!! DO you keep them covered? NM, I see lids now. Are there any holes in the lids? I ask because Ive read that some people drill a hole int eh center and some dont..

Is this your first fertile clutch?
