LITTLE DRIPPER WATER ?

I'm trying to work out, if the falling droplets of water MUST fall on to a leave in order to be licked up by my chameleon? Its proving to be a little bit awkward getting the position right. Can i just let the water fall, in mid air instead?

It should be dripping on plant leaves in order for the cham to drink it... Otherwise it just drips into the bottom.

90% will drip on the bottom anyway,even if he does drink from a leaf!

yes the water does all eventually end up on the bottom....

Id the unpleasant experience recently of having a waterlogged substrate! The dripping water was missing the collection pot below and inadvertently drenched the peat soil bottom! I'd to remove it all and start with fresh peat. Sadly, I've to do it all over again as I'm creating a bioactive vivarium ASAP. Nightmare

This is why it’s necessary to have that drainage layer that we told you about. It collects all that excess water and you can siphon it out.

if I have mistking and do twice daily mist, do I still need to have dripper?
