I had a panther a long time ago and his eye turret suddenly became very swollen. I took it to the vet and they did a MRI of it and said that either the eyeball was the problem or there was a growth behind it. They did the surgery on it and Crink came back with no eyeball. I was asked to take the body back in when he finally died so they could see if the cancer had been cured by removing the eyeball or not.
He had been with me for 4 years at that time and was a WC adult when I got him...he lived over a year. The necropsy showed that the cancer was gone and he died of natural causes from his age.
