I search and could not find this. I have a 24 wide x 24 deep x 48 high screen enclosure. its the good metal screen. I wanted to us a 24 inch reptiglo 8.0. bulb.
they recommend a 18" bulb at the place I got the enclosure. its a male veiled that I raised from a baby. he is now a year and a half old. I been using a 18" repti sun bulb. since I purchased the cage a year ago.
is the 24" too much uvb? I have 3 potted plants in the cage. the one plant is a top heavy type of ficus. all of the leaves are at the top, kind of like a tree. it restricts the light from hitting the bottom plants. my main question is. is the 24 inch light to powerful for this setup?
he usualy doesnt get to close to the uvb light. he likes his side basking light or his top basking light. it seems he knows how much uvb he needs and goes under the uvb light at the perfect distance.
input would be highly appreciated, thanx.
