I know everything I need for my Panther. The only thing I'm confused about is the lighting. I have a 24x24x48 cage. Would a mercury vapor bulb or flourescent tube bulb be better for a uvb source? If I get the flourescent bulb is it true that the UVB light only travels 6"? What's a good basking bulb and what is the ideal temp for a panther for day and night time. I plan on getting a juvenile/adolescent male.
