Light setup/brands

Hey I was wondering what's the best lights to have set up and what sizes. I understand there are UVA and UVB that can be taken care of with the repti glo 5.0 but should I get the tube light or the compact one. Also what basking bulb brand is good? And what amount of watts is safe? I'm getting a veiled

the linear bulbs are the way to go, and for the basking bulb most just use a reg house bulb. depending on the size of cage where the light is and the age of your veiled will determin the wattage 60 is a good start, just do some reasearch on required temps, jann has a great blog for new keepers

Thank you. I'm currently building a screen eclosure for him. There's so much to know about the little guys. So for basking you don't have to have one of those expensive Exo terra bulbs. Or anything . That sounds good. Thanks so much!
