Leon's "i'm a big kid now" new pad

Well as you can see by his pics he's not exactly a "big kid" yet. but he's growing strong and I can tell he already loves it so. he took a few walks around the circle on his bamboo jungle gym that was in his old cage and then ventrured out into the new territory, it took him about an hour tho i could see his eyes going crazy looking at the old and new. he's got about a 4 1/2 to 5 ft vertical space that is a 22" diameter so plenty of room to grow. i know i will be scorned on the coil bulb but its something that we are going to have to temporarily live with. but how bout that glass ball dripper? that was a humming bird feeder that i rigged to drip. i'm going to get him another schefflera tomorrow or maybe a hibiscus. we shall see. any tips, concerns, complaints would be appreciated :)

Leon is an offspring from Willie Pete via the Chameleon Company in Florida and he is almost 7 months and showing most of his daddy's colors :) he gets more teal and pinky daily. i <3 him ;-)

You are correct he is to cute for just one picture. I like the cage, I hadn't thought of that but it looks good. I am going to try the hummingbird feeder idea. In some of my small cages I try to come up with small drippers, so that is wonderful.

the humming bird feeder had a glass tube that shot out from the bottom kind of like a hamster water bottle would so i just took it out and actually put a screw anchor (the little plastic things that you would put in the wall to make sure your screw doesnt just tear up the dry wall ??? ) in where the tube hole was and adjusted it so it drips about 3-5 times a minute or so. its great :) good luck.

Very great enclosure for a central positionning where you can see from every angle. The idea of the humming bird feeder is very clever. I'm not very good in english and i'm not understand everything, but I think I will try this idea to... Right now i'm using "the little driper" and I have some difficulty to adjust the driping, i just can't set it one time and just fill it of water, each time i have to reset it because it dosen't drip and I don't have much loose to adjust it. It's always to much or not at all.... :(

i think thats an overall problem with the drippers period. but i figure as long as he knows theres water coming out of here sometime he will know where to find it :)

Why do you have the CFL lamps? are there two? How soon till you can get Linear? To help your plants grow it'd be a good idea to get a 6500K lamp over the cage. It will provide better light for the cham and plants.
