left over feces on vent

Hey my cham has poop on his vent i was think to use water with a q tip to clean it off other than that he eats and defecate on the regular or is there something else i can use i do have a bottle of the shed stuff too ive never used on him only my bearded dragon any info would help

If you are positive it's poop and not a prolapse then washing it off with some warm water should be fine.
