Lazy male

I have had my male panther for two weeks. He is about 5 months old and I've noticed him becoming more lazy with his tongue. His accuracy is on point but he used to blast his prey from a much more considerable distance than he is now. Now he's getting about half away as he was before to eat everything. Outside of this he is perfectly healthy. Is this common and is there any cause for concern?

It is fairly common in older chameleons, but not so much in a 5 month old. It is possible he inured it and he may start using it correctly again. It could be some sort of vitamin deficiency. Here is something for you to read written by one of our members.
