my chameleon Pastel She laying her eggs in a plant right now I have her a laying bin set up but why would she dig in the plants rather than the laying bin?

Leave her to it...she obviously prefers that spot. Don't let her see you watching her while she's digging.

Infertile. I would love to have baby chameleon’s though.

I would dig the eggs up in a day or two ...after she is done laying, filled and tamped the hole down and returned to the branches...and count them so we know if you need to change her diet, etc.
