latch recommendations

I'm in the process of a few cage builds.. I was wondering if anyone could refer me to some good latches for cage doors.. I've went to home depot/Lowe's and everything either seems too large or too cheap looking.. I don't need anything extravagant but I also don't want something that looks like it's just gonna break.. what have you guys used for your cage doors?

At Lowes I got a latch for my grasshopper cage that was gold, the hook was 1-1/4 inches long, and the receptacle for the hook was a "U"-shaped gold piece.

You find them where the (matching) small hinges are.

Window lock is a little too large for the one I'm doing right now.. and Nick I saw some of those at Lowe's and considered it but a few of them just looked pretty cheap
