It has been a long week. I received my 24x24x48 dragon strand cage last monday and have been making the habitat to my liking since. I built the stand specifically for the cage, built support beams on the top of the cage for the big dripper and the two hanging golden pothos. I upgraded my uv to a 18 inch 10.0 and bumped up my basking to a 75 watt. The other light in the back is a 40 watt daylight bulb just to give the enclosure a little bit more light. Lastly I upgraded to an aquazamp misting system from the monsoon, and let me tell you the difference is night and day. Not only is the mist quiet, but i can hardly hear it when its on.
Back to the dragon strand cages, you will not go wrong when you purchase products from Bill Strand. He has gone above and beyond to make me satisfied with my purchase. If i needed to buy another one i would not hesitate to buy from him and only him. The drainage tray is also a great addition. The tray looks and functions a lot better than my previous drainage method using pvc pipes and a bucket. To drain out the water i just use a shop vac and it is gone in about 20 seconds.
All in all, my growing cham looks a lot happier in his bigger cage. I just hope he won't get used to all this attention i have gave him this past week
