Hi can anybody assist me please. I have to speak to a class on the Knysna Dwarf but cannot find the answers to the following questions; How many toes does the Dwarf have? And what is the Dwarf's gestation period .

They have a total of 20 digits 5 per each extremity each fused in pares of 2 and three per extremity.

Length of gestation depends on the season. Three months long in the summer to six months long in the winter.

That certainly helps thank you. I must say I was surprised to learn that they have 20 digits? looking at their pics does not give one that impression!

Every and and foot has 5 fingers and toes. Each hand and foot have fingers and toes fused together. Each hand and foot has digits fused in groups of two and three.
