Khloe my female domestic rat died tonight after 3 1/2 years. She was suffering from pneumonia for the last week and was on antibiotics. The vet said she was geriatric. I was on the phone looking for an emergency clinic I could get her euthanized at when I heard her coughing. I ran over to her heating pad and she was obviously struggling. She took her last few breaths in my hands. The whole time I promised her I was not going anywhere and I didn't.
Khloe your cage mate Paris is looking for ya. We will both miss you sweet sweet girl. Hope god gives you mangos in heaven...

Im so sorry to hear about Khloe! I'm glad you had the strength and love to be with her while she passed as I truly think that they are comforted having you there. My thoughts are with you
