Keeping Humidity up while gone

Hi guys, I'm going out for about a day and a half and I have my lights all hooked up to timers but I was wondering what I can do about keeping the humidity up while I'm away?

Its a bit late to get a humidifier(I leave tomorrow) and I dont have anyone that is available to mist the enclosure.

Any ideas?

Thanks

set up a dripper. let it drip on leaves and trickle down to the bottom into a bowl or some sort of container. try to set it for 1 drip every couple or 3 seconds, maybe even ever 5 or 6 seconds. the ones you can buy at the pet store are ok but a good quality brass needle valve will work much better than the cheap plastic one you get with the drippers. You can use a milk jug some 1/4" tubing and the needle valve for less than 10 bucks and have enough water dripping for a couple days. you can pick this stuff up at Lowes or home depot. Look in the plumbing section by the reverse osmosis stuff. you can even do 2 or 3 dripers off of one bottle.

Thanks for that mate, I have a dripper already but I wasnt sure if that would be enough.

I'll set it up to drip frequently and hopefully that will raise the humidity

you can leave buckets of water around the cage. Move any live household plants near the cage. May not raise it very high, but 3-5% (guess) is better than nothing.

I know this doesn't answer the immediate question, but it might benefit you to get an auto-mister (or ask for one for a birthday present) so you don't have to worry about hand misting. I still hand drip my little guy, but I always have an auto mister going so he can drink while I'm at work.

Cool, I'll give it a try

Yeah it's definitely on my list of things to get.
I think they are a bit out of my price range for now
