katydid - should I breed it , or feed it

I found a katydid on my deck, it looks very gravid, does anyone breed these? is it worth letting it lay eggs? I can not seem to find much info on them- or should I just feed it off? its sure looks yummy ( all the chams were watching it in the deli cup )

what do I give her to lay on ?
I love to raise my feeders, but some of these odd ones I have not a clue - lol
