On sunday i noticed that both eyes of my cham were swollen. i took her to the vet on monday and she put my cham on a eye ointment antibiotic with steroid. the vet did tell me that this could take several weeks to clear up. but i would think it would at least look a little better by now. she seems to have the same size swollen eyes as she did at first. i hear this type of infection doesn't happen over night so it was strange that it did. can any one verify that? i got her from petco at the end of may. she has a 16x16x36 screen enclosure . i did find out from the vet i was using the wrong type of bulb. that has been taken care of. i also got a temp. gauge and a humidity gauge. both the temp and humidity were low. that has also been taken care of. I'm wondering should the doctor have tried to relieve the fluid or is the antibiotic going to be enough for now. I'm very worried about her, she can not look forward or back. so she can not eat on her own. i have been feeding her as much as she will let me. i just hope she doesn't lose to much weight during this process. Has anybody had this issue before? i will include some pics of her infection and you tell me, Thanks
