Hey guys I have a Juvenile Panther chameleon that displays behaviors that are different to what I have read. I have read that male panthers (well all chameleons I have read about) constantly roam their cages as if patrolling their territory. Mine usually stays fairly constant in one place in the cage.
Second he has been hiding or staying inside his plants for the past week or so and is now sleeping in them in the lower part of the cage. He displays bright blue and white colors while sleeping and is usually blue and green with tiger stripes of white and black throughout the day. He seems to have a healthy appetite eating 1 dubia roach and 12 - 15 crickets a day and gets vitamin and calcium w/D3 powdered crickets once a week on Thursdays.
I dont think I would worry about all this so much except again all I have read states they like hierarchy or basically they like to be at the top of the enclosure. I am sorry this is so long winded but I tried to mention everything I could think of.
