My female was rejecting my male for the last few months but yesterday I put her in his cage and she let him mount her without hissing. They stayed on eachother for about 20 mins or so and then she walked off. She is still a desert sand color, and am I right in saying that they need to keep mating till she shows gravid color which is a pink and black/brown stripes. So what I did was put her in the cage again today and he mounted her again. Can I leave them over night or how should I do this keep introducing her into the male cage till she regects him?

What you have been doing is fine but you can also leave them together until the female starts rejecting the male by darkening her background colors, hissing, rocking, etc. The only thing is that once she starts rejecting him you need to get her out of there so they won't hurt each other....so you need to be able to keep an eye on them.

Ok today I put her in his cage and he firedup no head jerks and began to hiss and chase her so I took here right out. He was still going crazy and hissing and trying to bite anything. Now they have been together and mated yesterday and the day before that, but she hasnt changed any different color shes still a light sandy brown. Do you think i should stop and try in another few days or was them doing it twice good enough for her to get pregnant? And if so should I see gravid colors in the next few days, and I dont see grAvid colors within a week does that mean shes not gravid and I need to put them together again? Sorry for all the questions.
