This is Lennon, when I got him, I got a "mate" with him. She didn't make it, but I found out afterwards that she came to me sick. I've had Lennon now for almost two months and he (thanks a lot to this forum) is doing great!
Here's a few pics of him I've taken recently.

Thanks, I've read that they're really the least desired amongst chams, but he's cool in my books!!

senegalensis

I really like senegalensis. They have great personalities. They remind me of a Veiled but much friendlier.:)

I had senegals for about 4 years. They had come in without the proper paperwork so the authorities confiscated them and that's how I ended up with them. They were such great eaters and very easy to keep once acclimated. They had to all be treated for parasites and one for subcutaneous nematodes. One female laid 35 eggs, if I remember correctly, and she had a broken leg. Several of the eggs hatched out but they didn't survive more than a few weeks. :( Their turrets were translucent. This was before I used a temperature controlled incubator.

Funny thing is, no one was interested in them at the time. I tried to find them new homes but they just didn't get the attention that panthers and veileds get.

Good luck to you with yours.;)

Thanks a lot!! He is super cute!! I'm just starting out with chams, I've got a beardie as well.
Do you have other chams now?

i notice you got substrate and a waterfall in there, have you since removed those items?

Yes, removed the money tree right away. New specs are as follows;

Cage Info:

* Cage Type - Large screened terrarium (approx. 4ft. high 4ft. wide ~ will provide exact measurements if neccesary at a later time)

* reptisun 5.0 and a (r-zilla) relfector dome basking lamp with a 150w bulb

* Temperature - the temperature ranges from 83 in basking area to 75 in the bottom. these temps are measured and regulated with exo terra thermometer
humidity is measured and maintained the same way.

* Plants - I am using hibiscus and a ficus, as well as some fake plants and vines for climbing.

* Location - the cage is located in my bedroom, low traffic no drafts or breezes. the top of the terrarium is approx. 8-9ft above the floor.

Chameleon Info:

* Your Chameleon - the sex is supposedly a male (but, i'm not sure) I am completely clueless to the age and "he's" been in my care since Nov.7 '08.

* Handling - I don't really, but if I had to put a number to it, less then once every 4 days for just a few minutes.

* Feeding - small crickets, butter worms.

* Supplements - gutloading with Nature Zone total bites, dusting with repti-Calcium w/o D3 (once a week) Rep-cal Phosphorus-free calcium with vit.d3 (once every two weeks) rep-cal herptivite with beta carotine multi-vitamins (once every month).

* Watering - He has an exo terra Large waterfall, I still mist two to three times a day.

* Fecal Description - for the most part it is solid dark brown with a white chunk.

* History - unkown

*NOTE* in the second picture below he leaning away from the camera so he looks oddly shaped, but he really hates the camera and this colour and spots prove it!!

cute

It doesn't get better than your cham singing in the rain. enjoy. If he is a male I have a friend who has a "female" or so he was told. He keeps it but is now into panthers. Laurie

How can I (or You, if I post a picture) tell if "Lennon" is a he or a she? I'm not exactly sure of the age, however; it's had one complete shed since I've had it (Nov.7). Maybe I can post a picture that is more helpful....
