I have no idea what you should do, but honestly, what could one do? I would think to just watch and wait. It takes a lot of energy to break out of its egg so I would think resting is normal.

They sometimes lay like that for quite a while after hatching. It should be ok…give it some time to rest.

Don’t mess with it. They often look dead and just lay there for awhile.

That poor baby probably had to use their full might to rip through a hard shell.

It is walking around now but its black? Should I be concern, or is it stressed out? Do i need to leave it there for a day or 2 oor should i move it?

That are often dark/black for awhile. Do you have other eggs to hatch? If you do I’d leave him in there until tomorrow. He can run around on the other eggs and it can help them to start hatching.

I believe they will fully absorb their egg sac first. I do hope you’ve already started your fruit fly cultures and have a lot of itty bitty feeders ready.

I think you are a little premature in thinking about pricing and 2 months old is too young to sell them. 3-4 months is the minimum age they should be sold. Right now you need to focus on knowing everything you need to to ensure they thrive.

They normally eat fruit flies 2 days after hatching. I I don’t let Panther babies go until at least four months old to experienced keepers and five to 6 months to new keepers.

Ok understood the other hatchling is in the egg more then halfways in and has not fully emerged . what can I do

She had 4 batches of eggs so there is alot of babies we only keeping a few .
