Just Hatched a Baby Anole!

Hey guys! My one and only egg that my anole laid before it died hatched today! The baby anole counting the tail is 1 1/2 inches long. I'm a dad now. He (I hope- too young to tell) just had his first cricket about 5 minutes ago. So excited!

That's pretty cool.

I have a massive population of these in my flower bed/garden in my front yard. I keep a water source, well several, out there for tham cause I get a trip of watching them running around doing their anole thing. They really can be quit comical. I've been so tempted to collect a bunch of them just so I can stick them in a tub and let them make me a parasite free food source.

It's funny how they dog paddle when they're in water. About the pics...I don't know if I can make him stay in a spot long enough to take one. I will try though.
