after a couple of weeks, and a long travel from canda down to mexico... My mistking its finally here!! =D
I will have it working by tomorrow afternoon, as soon as I get back from work....
Just one question...
How many times at day and how long should It mist?
I live in a fairly dry place... (Hermosillo, Mexico)
I kind of have the same weather as tucson and phoenix arizona...
Soooooo.... any suggestions =)?

It will depend on the humidity of the room your cham is in. if you don't raise the humidity any other way than a misting system and you have windows open.... you might want to mist more often. but it will also depend on the chameleon you are keeping..... what kind?

I would mist for 5-10 three times a day.... but it'll depend on your situation more specifically.

I believe in long mists, so I have one 15 min mist, one 5 minute mist, and one 20 minute mist during the day. I live in Florida so humidity isn't a huge issue, but I believe in doing more "rain" than a quick 2 minute mist. Often times mine just sit in the spray, not drinking, but just enjoying it. They can get out of the spray I they want to but they choose to stay in it and just enjoy it, I guess.

Just play around with it and see how it affects your humidity levels and such and go from there.

My enclosure is right next to an open window...
And I have two veiled chams (separated). (male and female)
My electronic thermometer reads usually around 50-60% humidity (which I dont really trust, as I believe it is dryier)...
So... what should I do? how many mists and how long should they last x)?

I am with Olimpia.... long mists... Since they are veileds, give them 15-20 minute mists twice a day and I would give a 5-10 minute mist in the middle of the day. Do the first mist about an hour after lights on.... then mid day and then the last misting 2 hours before lights out.
